Goal and participants

The goal is to study modeling, analysis and numerics of PDEs with random coefficients, in particular in view of the influence of randomness on questions like existence, uniqueness and critical behaviour of the solutions. The workshop will take place from Wednesday, November 13 (morning), till Friday, November 15 (early afternoon). In the three mornings, there will be three minicourses delivered by:
In the two afternoons, there will be research talks. The following persons have been invited as speakers:

  • WIAS Research Groups 3 (link), 4 (link) and 5 (link), Young Scientist's Group (link)

  • DFG Research Center Matheon (link)

All those interested are welcome. For organisational purposes, please send a short message about your presence to by 3 November, as there is a limited seat capacity. Thank you!
