Goal

MSim The aim of the project was the preparation of a business start-up in connection with an innovative industrial software for microelectronic simulations during the design phase of the semiconductor device development for the estimation of the design potential. Particularly, sophisticated power electronics and semiconductor detectors are in the focus of interest.

The topic is based on the research results achieved at WIAS in the field of numerical semiconductor simulations and the innovative semiconductor simulator Oskar3, which had been extended from a scientific tool to a commercially applicable software.
