From particle systems to differential equations
organised by Weierstrass Institute, Berlin, February 21-23, 2012
Overview
The main purpose of this workshop is to bring the two fields of analysis and stochastic processes together and to understand, from various points of view, how a macroscopic picture arises from microscopically defined random interacting particle systems.
In the three mornings, there will be two minicourses (each 3 times 90 minutes) delivered by
- Mario Pulvirenti (Università di Roma La Sapienza)
talk-1 talk-2 talk-3 - Stefano Olla (CEREMADE, Paris)
