DFG publishes Funding Atlas 2021

The DFG Funding Atlas presented on October 5, 2021 shows outstanding successes of the WIAS in obtaining funding from the German Research Foundation in the period 2017-2019:

  • In the natural sciences, WIAS is the Leibniz Institute with the most participations in DFG-funded collaborative programs (see pp. 119 and 123 and map graphic below).
  • The institute is exemplarily listed as a regular local cooperation partner of the Berlin universities FU, HU and TU (see p. 119).
  • In total, the institute was able to acquire DFG funding in the amount of €6.6 million. This corresponds to the eighth highest value in the ranking of the more than 90 Leibniz institutions »
  • The Institute's integration into the national research data initiative is shown in the figure on p. 32.
