Mentoring for female scientists in Leibniz institutions

The Leibniz Association promotes gender equality. The program "Leibniz Mentoring for female researchers" is a major strategic tool to reach this goal. Excellent research needs excellent female scientists. With this one-year program, the Leibniz Association seeks to address highly qualified female postdocs to support them on the path to leadership positions and professorships. Dr. Marita Thomas from WIAS's Research Group "Partial Differential Equations" participated in the pilot project in 2011/12. From November 2014, Dr. Karoline Disser from the same research group started as a mentee in the program.
