Research Assistant Position (m/f/d)

in the Research Group

Stochastic Algorithms and Nonparametric Statistics

(Head: Prof. Dr. Vladimir Spokoiny) within the framework of the ERC Project GPSART (Head: Prof. Dr. Peter Friz) starting at the earliest possible date.

Applicants are expected to have a scientific university degree (with PhD degree) and documented knowledge of the following topics

  • stochastic partial differential equations
  • regularization by noise
  • ergodicity of stochastic systems

Experience with the theory of rough paths and excellent English skill are further requirements.

International experience is advantageous.

The appointment is limited for one year. The work schedule is 39 hours per week, and the salary is according to the German TVoeD scale.
