For the first time in the history of the MMS Days a science slam will be organized. Science slams are fun competitions in which the participants present their research in a casual, entertaining way. The topics should be MMS related, the talks at most ten minutes long. Contributions can contain poetry, dance, rap, live experiments, etc. - everything to the extent permitted by law. As a matter of course there will be a phenomenal prize to win and, like all the other scientific activities at MMS days, contributions will be recorded and provided to the public if the participants agree. So, put your mind in creativity mode!

The MMS Science Slam takes place on April 11, 2024 from 18:15 to 19:15. We are looking forward to the following contributions to the competition:

• Anja Eggert (FBN Dummerstorf) - Sharing data and code
• Tim Schmidt (IVW Kaiserslautern) - Vincent van Gogh: Painter, Crazy Ginger & Flow Simulation Expert?
• Costanza Manganelli (IHP Frankfurt/Oder) - Yoga and Light
• Max Kaiser (IVW Kaiserslautern) - SMAHCing the Energy Crisis: Model Efficiency to the Rescue!
