Goal and participants

The goal is to study modeling, analysis and numerics of PDEs with random coefficients, in particular in view of the influence of randomness on questions like existence, uniqueness and critical behaviour of the solutions. The workshop will take place from Wednesday, November 13 (morning), till Friday, November 15 (early afternoon). In the three mornings, there will be three minicourses delivered by:

Location

The workshop will take place at the Weierstrass Institute (WIAS), which is located in a historic building in the center of Berlin. The workshop address is: WIAS Berlin, Mohrenstraße 39, 10117 Berlin, Germany.
The Erhard Schmidt lecture room of WIAS is equipped with a blackboard, two overhead projectors and a digital projector with a laptop (Windows system), as well as intranet and internet.
