IFIP TC7.2 Workshop

Electromagnetics — Modelling, Simulation, Control
and Industrial Applications

May 13 – 17, 2013

Scope

The workshop aims at bringing together researchers from academia and industry to discuss recent achievements in electromagnetics. Mathematical topics to be discussed are finite and boundary element discretization methods for the electromagnetic field equations in frequency and time domain, analysis, optimal control and model reduction for multi-physics problems involving electromagnetics, as well as direct and inverse scattering problems. Industrial applications include electromagnetic flow control in crystal growth, multifrequency induction hardening, and diffractive optics.
