4th Leibniz MMS Days
March 20 - March 22, 2019
Kühlungsborn
Session on Computational and Geophysical Fluid Dynamics
The session is devoted to all aspects of fluid dynamics, with a traditional emphasis on applications in meteorology, oceanography and computational fluid dynamics. Contributions on micro- and nanofluidics, electro hydrodynamics or magneto hydrodynamics are very welcome as well.
The following topics are especially encouraged:
- turbulence modelling
- coherent structures & nonlinear dynamics of flows
- uncertainty quantification
- data assimilation.
- robust numerical CFD solvers (robust space discretizations, thermodynamical consistency, iterative solvers, time-integration)
Besides novel solutions also open problems can be presented.
