APPLICATION OF DISCRETE FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS TO
THE CONVERGENCE STUDY OF A FINITE VOLUME SCHEME FOR
NONLINEAR ELLIPTIC/PARABOLIC PROBLEMS
Prof. R. Eymard (Université de Marne-la-Vallée, France)
In the continuous setting, the use of Minty and Leray-Lions
tricks are well-known for getting the existence of a solution
to some nonlinear elliptic problems, such as the p-Laplacian
diffusion problem. We show how these tools have a discrete
counterpart, applicable in two settings (p-Laplacian,
regularized mean curvature motion level set equation).
