...from Tegel airport

Take the bus line TXL from the airport (the bus starts there) in the direction Alexanderplatz. Get off at Werderscher Markt (16 stops - this takes about 29 minutes) and turn to the right into Oberwallstraße, which ends at Hausvogteiplatz. The light yellow building at the corner Mohrenstraße/Hausvogteiplatz is our institute. It's then a five-minute walk to WIAS.

...from Schönefeld airport

Please take the shuttle bus to the S-Bahn station. Take the suburban train line  S9 (S-Bahn) from the station Berlin-Schönefeld in the direction Grunewald, or, alternatively, you can take regional train in the direction Zoologische Garten (goes every 30 minutes). Get off either at Alexanderplatz (see below under item Alexanderplatz) or at Friedrichstraße (see below under item Friedrichstraße).

...from Tempelhof airport

Take the underground line U6 from station Platz der Luftbrücke in the direction Alt-Tegel. Get off at station Stadtmitte. See below for further information.

... from Zoologischer Garten railway station

Take the underground U2 in the direction Pankow and get off at Hausvogteiplatz (9 stops - this takes about 15 minutes).

...from Ostbahnhof

Take any suburban train in western direction, i.e. Grunewald (line S9), Spandau (lines S5 or S75), Wannsee (line S7). Get off either at station Alexanderplatz (2 stops) or at Friedrichstraße (4 stops). See below for further information.

...from Lichtenberg railway station

Take the suburban train in the direction Spandau (lines S5 or S75) or Wannsee (line S7). Get off either at station Alexanderplatz (6 stops) or at Friedrichstraße(8 stops) . See below for further information.

...from Alexanderplatz

Take the underground line U2 in the direction Ruhleben or Theodor-Heuss-Platz. Get off at Hausvogteiplatz. See below for further information.

...from Friedrichstraße railway station

Take the underground line U6 in the direction Alt-Mariendorf. Get off at station Stadtmitte (2 stops). See below for further information.

...from underground station Stadtmitte (line U6)

Either take the underground line U2 in the direction Pankow and get off at Hausvogteiplatz, which is the next station, or just walk there (turn right from Friedrichstraße into Mohrenstraße), follow the Mohrenstraße (pass the Hilton Hotel and the Gendarmenmarkt) until the end of the street. The last (light yellow) building on the left is our institute (at the corner Mohrenstraße/Hausvogteiplatz).
 

...from underground station Hausvogteiplatz (line U2)

Leave the station in the direction Hausvogteiplatz. Turn right after coming up the stairs and walk a few metres straight onto the Mohrenstraße. On the corner, you will find our institute (a light yellow building). Please use the entrance from the Mohrenstraße.
